SUPPORTED INDEPENDENT LIVING / RESPITE ACCOMMODATION

Supported Independent Living Accommodation

Looking for a house to call home?

HCB II will support your needs to live to the fullest. Our shared living arrangements are desired to support the client as they develop independence and engage in different activities and programs.

HCB II Supported Independent Living services are designed around the needs of two distinct customer groups:

  • People with psychosocial disability support needs

  • People with dual disability support needs (mental health and intellectual disability, autism spectrum or acquired brain injury)

Each participant will have their individual program of support, depending on what they need to live the life they want.

HCB II also provides short or medium term supported accommodation for people with NDIS funding who require transitional housing while they wait for their permanent home to be ready to move in.

Respite Accommodation

Caring for someone can be very rewarding and it can also be demanding and tiring work- both physically and emotional.

It is important that family carers take time off to have a break and to look after their health and wellbeing. This can happen through respite care.

Our respite care can be provided:

  • At any time during the day or evening

  • Overnight

  • Weekdays

  • Weekends

Respite care can also be a positive experience for the person receiving care. It also provides assurance that they are being professionally cared for and in safe hands.

We have available respite accommodation in South-East Suburb that is readily available to you.
